1958 Born on 22nd. Nov in Fife, Scotland
1968 First guitar on her 10th. birthday
1972 Changed her name to Horse
1976 Wrote songs with Angela McAlinden at college and together with Tim on bass/drums they performed as Astrakhan
1985 Astrakhan released Power of Touch ..

1987 Bands' name changed to Horse!
In March they did a spot on 'The Tube'- the iconic late night TV music show.
'..and she smiled' featured on Melody Maker compilation album.
In December that year the band negotiated record deal with Capitol Records
1989 Album The Same Sky recorded by Horse - the band. ( Horse McDonald, Angela McAlinden, George Hutchison....... ) Speed of the Beat, Sweet Thing, Careful and You Could be Forgiven released as singles.
1990 The Same Sky released on Capitol records. Then problems with the American company - re-signed with Oxygen/ MCA label.
The band toured with Tina Turner on European/UK leg of her Foreign Affair Tour.
1993 Album God's Home Movie released by Horse-the Band.
The band promoted their work in America...
GHM and Shake This Mountain released as singles.
1994 Horse and Angela now performing as a duo.
1995 Horse's solo project - with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra at Barrowlands was a great success.
1996 Horse and Angela part company and Horse goes solo!

1997 'Careful' remixes released (Horse in collaboration with Brothers in Rhythm) rises to number 44 in the UK charts on 5/4/97. (STRESS)
1999 Horse established her own label-RANDAN. 'Sometimes I..' released as single.
'Our Lips Shouldn't Touch' show ran for 10 full nights at the Drill Hall, Bloomsbury, London.
2000 Both Sides album released on Randan label...... the recording of the highly acclaimed Barrowlands concert with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
2001 Hindsight released, stunning tracks on this album! - supported by funds from fans..
2002 Programm zur Abchlussveranstaltung an der Siegessaule am 22. Juni 2002 Horse 19:20 bis 19:40 Uhr DIE Ikone der Lesben in den 90igern Jahren. Sie kommt extra aus England angereist. Stil: Folk-Pop-Rock.
2003 Only All of Me released. Album recorded live at various gigs around the UK . Horse won the Radio Forth Award for 'Best Performance' for her concert at Queens Hall, Edinburgh that year.
2004 Coveted released - covers album of some of Horses' favourites..
2006 Same Old, Same Old - a single from new album, Red Haired Girl.
Available on digital download!!
2007 Signed a deal with KOSMIC - U.S. record company - to release a re-mix of Red Haired Girl (RHG II) in the States, this autumn.
2009 Following a very difficult, personal time in the last 18 months Horse released her 8th. album Coming Up for Air. Full of wonderful, heartfelt songs..
2010 Exciting new projects in the offing including single of Something Wicked.. a track from the Coming Up For Air album, also to be released as a video download.
DVD 'Live at The Queens Hall 2009' for release in Spring.
A celebration tour in the autumn of the 20th year anniversary of The Same Sky along with the release of a 2010 version of Careful !!
2011 Talk of new album coming this year...
'Live' dates in U.K., Europe and Australia !!
Film score of 'About her..' to include Stars, track from CUFA album.
2012 New album coming this year... for sure...!
Return trip to Aus.. in Feb.
